- There is an issue where Windows 10 keeps on reverting back to this driver. The solution to this USB problem is to make Windows 10 use RNDIS 6. Remember, selecting any other driver other than RNDIS 6 will not work to resolve the issue. If you are experiencing this problem, try the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.
- The package provides the installation files for ASUS Android USB Ethernet/RNDIS Driver version 1.0.0.8. If the driver is already installed on your system, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix various issues, add new functions, or just upgrade to the available version.
RNDIS Driver is required for PC to connect with RFID Reader via USB. If the driver is installed correctly the device will appear in the Network Adapters section with RNDIS in the device name. Once the device has been located in Device Manager, right click on the device name and select Update Driver. When the Update Driver window opens select the Browse My Computer option. Connectivity Improvements: Better handling of VPN clients (resolve unbinding of protocols from our RNDIS adapter). New auto detection of connectivity failure with user diagnostic alerts. ActiveSync 4.2 supports PC sync via USB cable, Bluetooth, or infrared connection.
-->The Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) library abstracts the network hardware from network drivers. NDIS also specifies a standard interface between layered network drivers, thereby abstracting lower-level drivers that manage hardware from upper-level drivers, such as network transports. NDIS also maintains state information and parameters for network drivers, including pointers to functions, handles, and parameter blocks for linkage, and other system values.
NDIS supports the following primary types of network drivers:
Note
Rndis Driver Android
Rndis Driver Windows 7
These topics detail each type of NDIS driver individually. For more information about the NDIS driver stack and a diagram showing the relationship between all four NDIS driver types, see NDIS Driver Stack.
